Hi All,
Am new at this forum, and am a wine investor.
My first investment was in Year 2005, when wine investment first arrived.
As my initial batches were wine with short holding period of 18 months, i've seen my returns and thus, have got my guts to invest more.
It is also very important to have a good broker manage your assets.
I've had my fair share of brokers who leave their company faster than my wine can arrive, and am tired of the high turnover.
This has forced me to choose another brokerage firm, and have specifically requested for the Director/ Head of investments to manage my account.
Storage & insurance are usually included in the investment packages.
Another thing i've learnt (being blessed with the haggling ability of a woman

), is that brokerage firms will factor a certain percentage of their broker's commission into the investment amount. So that leaves me some space to bargain downwards.
