   Do anyone know where to get items in HsinChu?

   Anyone know what electronic gadget or computer device is cheaper to buy in Taiwan?

Honestly I don't think the price difference is that much anymore compared to 5 years ago.

Yup... Just came back from TW a few weeks back. The living standard there is probably just 15-20% lower than SG. Besides, Sim Lim is one of the most competitive IT malls in Asia. Some of the stuff are even cheaper than China...
