It does affect in some way; one of my IT firms was originally registered as a publishing firm so we get the occassional odd request from government bodies for sales stats and so on.

Good day Andrew,

Welcome here; however what does your question have to do with the threadstarter's question on the ACRA registered business activity?

Hi Kite

It is important to register the correct business activity that you are in.

If there are mistake, what you need, amend it through ACRA website.

There are some concerns for not doing so, for example the need of the insurance cover, may face difficulties with the insurance company.

The statistic board would need feedback from SME for some survey.wrong info provide may face prosecute by the authority.

Furthermore when business expand need loan, may face some issue with the Banker.
