Hi, I've heard about Cash Flow Game. Some of my friends have been playing this game. I've attended a couple too. They told me that lots of network marketing companies and entrepreneurship foums are facilitating this game. Is there any difference between the sessions they conduct and ProjectSenso's?

Hi James Bond,

Welcome aboard! Project:Senso's Cashflow games are completely not linked to any financial/MLM companies. The games are conducted by volunteers in Senso which includes entrepreneurs and day traders who takes time to contribute and share their knowledge.

We do this as the introduction of the 4 core values that make up Project:Senso's manifesto, the KEEN concept. Of which K and E stands for Knowledge and Exposure.

Finally, the games conducted are meant for like minded individuals that has met through Project:Senso to get to know each other better in person rather than just as another poster in this forum. The S$10 cost per person per game is used to finance the upkeep of the not-for-profit organization and does not go to any individual's pockets.

ideapreneur,

Nice mod, there's a similar modification we done with 4 boards of which all 4 boards are equally affected by market changes, "policy changes", and other stuff that added more reality into the CF game. Cheesy

Weshould do more of that actually, the current CF boardgame only has 3 market influences in one cycle. That shouldnt be the case right? Smiley

Yes, there's too few market influences. 3 isn't enough as it can become too predictable after a couple of sessions. New market influences should include fluctuations in bank loans interest rate, option to mortgage, auction or sales of assets, taking out the $1 shares etc.

I believe the purpose of the Cashflow 101 game was created with the intention of educating beginners to help them understand cashflow easily.

Modifications do help for the more experienced ones but i think we should shift the Cashflow games towards the beginners and shift the experienced ones into teaching them.

You can always modify or create a similiar version which adds a realistic variable for the experienced ones to make it enjoyable.

It's like a difference in grade we all get bored once we've passed it so perhaps we should use a better tool instead to assist us in our growth as well as in the interaction we gain. Cheers.
