Hi guys and gals,

This notice is made within the forums first to reach out to those that actually visit the site. Project Senso was once a bustling site with over 40 discussion topics a day but after a massive loss of data a year ago, the age of the system and the topics are slowly starting to get back into shape. To rebuild the same culture of entrepreneurship, of sharing and assisting one another in the journey of starting up, running the business and so on, Dreamzz decided it is time to rally all the willing to once again rebuild Senso to top form.

Dreamzz (Andy) has made a call for volunteers to a select few about 2 weeks ago and I have volunteered to upgrade the existing aging forum and content management system. There are other areas of volunteering to look into, namely:

Event management
Maintain the event calendar on a once-a-day basis by taking charge of monitoring events via emails, partner sites and so on (1 - 2 volunteers)

Event managers to manage regular flagship (monthly, bi-monthly or bi-weekly) events that are for the education and building of social links between members (2 - 3 volunteers per event)

Liaison officers
Maintain diplomatic ties connection and relation between Senso and a small portfolio of organizations, which may include governmental and education bodies around Asia (1 volunteer per 2 - 3 organizations)

Journalists
Journalists will be the ambassedorial frontline of Senso, with Press privileges and functions granted with the opportunity to double up as Liason officers. Responsible for covering and reporting on events relating to entrepreneurship in their area of coverage. (1 volunteer per 2 - 3 organizations)

Subject matter expert
You will speak and reply specifically on an area of your expertise, addressing and answering queries to the best of your abilities and area of coverage. (1 volunteer per 1 - 2 area of expertise)

If there are other areas of volunteering that you would wish to offer your assistance to, please indicate it here. This notice will be mass mailed out in a few weeks once the entire new software infrastructure is in place. Cheers!

Hi guys,

One more area of volunteering:

Book Sharing Interest Group
This group is managed by Soltari and has built a library of management, marketing and advertising, motivational materials (ie. Anthony Robbins and Jay Abraham stuff) and other bric a bracs. There is a requirement for a resource tracker who will manage the resources coming in and out of the library. There is also a need for a events volunteer to manage get-togethers.

Hi Nic!

Guess I would like to be involved in the Liason Officer and Journalist roles, as they since to be related and overlapped each other. guess would be a greater synergy if they can be combined.

just a thought. :>

Hi Ncknight,

Thanks for your email, Sorry for the late reply. I think I would be interested in Subject matter expert. Which links more to business theory/business strategy.

Thanks..

Hi guys,

Suggestion, assuming dual/multiple roles would enable better man management efficiency. That aside i'm suggesting that all volunteers set their own targets/goals and liase accordingly based on their own capabilities that way we know in which direction the other is going and can better utilise it towards synergy.

On my part i'll fit in wherever i'm needed.

Thanks guys.

Hi Nic,

I would like to volunteer for the Liaison Officer. I'm new to diplomacy & ambassadorial roles, so I hope to learn from all the more seasoned guys here.

Strange though to observe that there are no takers for this position so far, and all are volunteering for Events Management.

It is a proof of concept that the migration works; the functions and other things are to be done once the team meets up and decides on the objectives this weekend.
