Mr Darran Nathan
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Progeniq Private Limited

Progeniq is an early mover in the High-Processing Computing acceleration industry and has rapidly grown over the past years.  Progeniq's clients today span four continents and more than 15 countries across the globe, with its products deployed in mission-critical systems that serve key processes within organisations.

Darren has been CEO of Progeniq since its founding, leading the company in developing its core technology, early customer traction and expansion into new markets.  He initiated the 'Reconfigurable Computing' research project in 2003 at the DSP Technology Centre in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.  Progeniq Pte Ltd was spun off in March 2005 as a result of the project.

Mr Alvin Tan Hock Guan
Founder, The Mind Café Pte Ltd

The Mind Cafe is an ideal place where families, colleagues and friends meet up for board games over good food, snacks and drinks. It is a cafe with a chill out, party environment where everyone can have fun and laughter together. It is an innovative concept which combines both F& B and entertainment.

The idea for the Mind Cafe came about some time in early 2004. What started off as a chance encounter with the National Monopoly Competition turned into a successful business venture.  The Mind Cafe is the brainchild of Mr Alvin Tan Hock Guan.  Alvin worked in the development field where he used to move from one construction site to another and handled teams of people to get them together to work on building civil construction projects.  He was in a senior management position as a civil engineer where he worked in his previous company for 9 years after graduating from NTU.
